We are very happy to offer three exciting parts wrapped into one evening. You are invited to attend all three parts or join us for the one or two that work for you.
- 4:00 PM a private tour of some special German collections of the Library of Congress by German Area Specialist David Morris, Ph.D. (Please meet at the Jefferson Building, Carriage Entrance, beneath the grand staircase on First Street across from the Capitol at 3:45 PM)
- 5:00 PM “Die spinnen, die Amis: How Germans perceive the U.S. Presidential Elections”, a talk and discussion with Dr. Wilfried Mausbach, Executive Director, Heidelberg Center for American Studies (HCA). (Please meet at the Library of Congress, Jefferson Building, Carriage Entrance, beneath the grand staircase on First Street across from the Capitol at 4:45 PM)
- 6:30 PM We will continue the discussion and networking in a more relaxed environment at the restaurant and wine bar Sonoma, 223 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE (http://www.sonomadc.com)

There will be no charge for the tour and the talk and everybody covers their own cost at Sonoma.
